A user with the Data Administrator role can download and install the Upload Agent.
To install the Upload Agent, there must be a valid security certificate setup on the local machine that the Upload Agent is to be installed on.
The local user must create this certificate on the Certificates screen by clicking Create New Certificate:
The local user needs to enter a password and click Create (this certificate password is required when the local user installs the upload agent on the local machine):
The local user can download the certificate to the local machine that the Upload Agent is going to be installed on:
Once the local user has created a certificate and downloaded that to the local machine, the local user can install the Upload Agent by downloading the installer from the Agent page:
Once the Upload Agent installer has been downloaded the local user can run the installer by clicking the downloaded file:
Choose a Destination Folder to install the Upload Agent to (if different from default option):
Choose the Certificate that you wish to use (this can be found where you chose to download the certificate to earlier):
Enter the certificate password that you created earlier:
Choose an Upload Directory (if different from default option).
Choose whether you’d like to receive Auto Updates of new Upload Agent versions. This is recommended if you wish to avoid manually re-installing when new versions are available.
Click Next to continue and Next again to install on the next screen:
Click Finish to exit installer:
You should see a message to let you know that you have successfully installed the Upload Agent:
You will now be able to upload files to BankBI by copying the files into your chosen Upload directory.
