Product Performance Analysis

Basic description

This report shows and ranks the value, percentage of the total, and average rate of each business line (product class), group of products, or specific loan or deposit product, in total and for the current month. The start month of the report can be varied to show any month in history. Deposits/shares paying zero interest can be included or excluded. The report can be refined by region or branch.

Uses

This is the principal report for comparison and management of the loan and deposit product portfolio. Managers can see at a glance how each product, group of products or whole business line is performing against its peers. Using the filters to select on business areas or products allows managers to refocus the report to show, for example, relative performance in mortgages, credit cards or term deposits. Managers can also use this report to manage the product portfolio of specific regions or branches.

Options

You can select:-

 The start month for the report

 Loans or deposits
             •  If deposits, whether to include or exclude zero interest deposits/shares.

 A single branch, group of branches (e.g. region), or the whole institution

 Whether to examine the portfolio by:-
             •  Product class (business lines, e.g. mortgages)
             •  Product group (usually product types, e.g. fixed rate residential mortgages)
             •  Products (specific named products)
