This report focuses in on the very short-term (intra-month) lending trends, comparing the position at the start and end of the selected month (or most recent date if current month). The report also shows details of the loans disbursed and repaid during the month. In all cases the number, value and weighted average rate of loans are shown. The report can be organised by region, branch and loan officer or by business line and product.
This report allows managers to closely monitor market trends in real-time as they occur. This is one of the few reports showing loans repaid which, in addition to the new loans, shows how the composition of the portfolio is changing as loans mature or are repaid early. A breakdown by region and branch shows how these trends differ across the network, to indicate whether trends are general or specific to local factors, or even to the performance of a specific loan officer. Refinement by business areas or products indicates whether the trends are general (e.g. economic) or specific (e.g. market or product related).
