This report ranks the performance of loan officers and measures them against targets, by new loans (number and value) and total portfolio. Variance against targets is shown in values and percentages. Ranking is by total portfolio. The report breaks out performance by business areas or specific products. The timescale for the report can be the current or previous month or the current quarter or year.
This report allows managers to see at a glance which loan officers are performing well or badly vs. their peers and the targets set by management, over short (month) or medium-term (quarter, year) timescales. The further analysis by business lines (e.g. mortgages, credit cards) or specific products allows managers to see if trends are general to the branch or region in question or isolated to specific business areas within that unit.

Whether to show performance by:-
• Product Class (business lines, e.g. mortgages)
• Product Group (usually product types, e.g. fixed rate residential mortgages)
• Products (specific named products)
Period of comparison
• Current month
• Previous month
• Current quarter
• Current year
Whether to include/exclude loan officers that have been inactive for the last two months (likely to have left the institution).
